That the strangely named tasselled wobbegong is a species of shark inhabiting shallow coral reefs off Northern Australia, New Guinea, and adjacent islands. Reaching 1.8 m (5.9 ft) in length, this species has a broad and flattened body and head but its most distinctive trait is a fringe of branching dermal flaps around its head. The fringe, along with its complex colour pattern, enable it to camouflage itself against the reef environment.

That Fordlandia was established by American industrialist Henry Ford as a prefabricated industrial town in the Amazon Rainforest in 1928 intended to be inhabited by 10,000 people to secure a source of cultivated rubber for the automobile manufacturing operations of the Ford Motor Company in the United States. The project failed, and the city was abandoned in 1934. The town was mostly deserted, with only 90 residents still living there until the late 2000s when it saw an increase of population, being home to around 2,000 people as of 2017.
