7 FACTS ABOUT ME
#1. Short bio: Hi Steemits! My name is Elizabeth, I'm 23 y.o. and I'm Russian. Yes, its that cold country with bears walking around everywhere and drinking beer with vodka! I grew up as an only child without dad (my poor mom had to play both parent roles), was a very quiet child, went to school, went to circus studio and music school for 2 years, went to dance studio for 8 years, finished school, went to college (kind of boring but consistent life).
#2. Education: But my quiet and boring life found its end in the college. Since I didn't really figure out at that time what I wanted to do with my life, I decided to choose what I liked to do - languages. I was pretty good in English classes so my choice was Moscow State Linguistic University. It was my first grown up and serious decision and I don't regret it now because I wouldn't be able to speak English, Spanish and Turkish (oh yes) and find a job.
#3. Work experience: Since I was studying linguistic and interpretation in my college, I obviously found a job as a translator for an American farmer and businessman in one agricultural company in Moscow, Russia. Money and schedule wasn't very great but experience was everything I was looking for in this place. But. I found one more thing i didn't expect to find - LOVE.
#4. Love story: I never really had problems finding a boyfriend but never really was interested in it. Until I found my one and only - that American farmer I was working with. Our love story was very complicated in the beginning, but we figured everything out, started to live together, traveled together, worked together and finally married.
#5. Living: After living in Russia, we changed our location to Ukraine for a short period of time which didn't work very good for us (business speaking). Currently we live in the Philippines because my husband has a business here and both like it very much. But really it's impossible to tell where your home is... for me home is where my husband is.
#6. Travelling: I always loved travelling. It's an indescribable feeling when you visit a new country, get to know their culture, traditions, food of course and people. I can't tell that I've been in lots of countries but it will be enough to right another blog about it.
#7. Why 7? And finally the reason why I decided to stat writing my "7". First of all, "7" is my husband's favorite number, it's not to much and not to small - just enough for writing. Then I think that each person's life is very unique and interesting and if you have something to share - share it! "Be bold" - that's what my grandma would say here.
So I'm going to write "7 FACTS" or "7 THINGS" about everything that has been going on in my life. And I will start with writing "7 FACTS" about each fact I listed here. Hope it's going to be interesting enough for you to read on your lazy day, or on your way to and from work.
