The anaconda: largest snake in the world.
The anaconda (eunectes murinus) is said to be a larger snake in the world, since it can reach more than 12 meters in length, 30 centimeters in diameter and weigh more than 200 kilograms, its great weight is what makes it consider as big in comparison with other snakes also of great dimension.
The anaconda is carnivorous, they feed on large rodents, such as chiguires, tapirs, deer, fish, birds, mice, frogs and other aquatic reptiles.
Live regularly in the rainforest, in the deciduous forests, in the swamps and also in the savannahs. It is usually found in South America. In Venezuela, it is mainly obtained in the plains and along the entire Orinoco River.
The anaconda is an excellent swimmer, it is more slower in the terrestrial habitat. They are not poisonous but they usually catch their prey with their fangs in order to drown it and swallow it.
You will be surprised to know about its reproduction, the gestation period is six (06) months, having approximately 20 to 40 offspring, when they are born they measure about 60 centimeters, and they already have the ability to swim and feed themselves.
I tell you that I particularly respect the mysteries of nature, and these animals are usually part of that mystery and see it dangerous.
