Today I learned about the jumbo gorilla, who lived in the zoo on the island of Jersey, and in 1986 saved a 5-year-old boy who fell into his cage. The child who had fallen into the cage had lost consciousness, and Jumbo shielded him from the rest of the gorillas and even stroked his back.

Today I learned about one of the most popular television shows in Russia in the 90s, which imagined car theft and escape from the police.
In the program, the participants received a key to the vehicle and had to flee the police for 35 minutes. If they succeeded, they won a car. But if they were caught, they were beaten up by the police.
The purpose of the program was to deter young people from stealing vehicles, and at its peak there were about 60 million viewers.
Unfortunately, the plan was canceled after it was discovered that the plan actually caused an increase in car theft. Apparently, the viewers were inspired by the original ways in which the contestants managed to evade the police.
