Today I learned about Contoso, an imaginary company registered by Microsoft to serve as an example (without fear of copyright infringement/claims).
In addition, the company has many imaginary employees who serve as example people.
On April 1, 2011, Google posted that Contoso are going to manage their organization by Google's tools.

Well-known mathematician Kurt Gedel, when he was preparing for a US citizenship test, noticed a breakthrough in the US Constitution that allows the United States to become a dictatorship, despite the various protections of democracy in it.

Today I learned that two years ago, Indian scientists discovered a new spider, and because of its resemblance to the sorting hood from Harry Potter, they called it Eriovixia Gryffindori.
The author, JK Rowling, congratulated the scientists.
Nice facts! A community with knowledge of facts, that would be great..at least better that an imaginary community like Contoso :)
