60 centimeters!
Did you know?
Ant-eaters don't have any teeth, but their tongue is very sticky and can have a length up to 60cm.
That is an animal that is quite strange to us. Nobody sees them in their everyday life right? They have a very long head - well, the tongue has to fit somewhere.
Mainly they eat - just as the name implies - ants, termites and other small insects. They don't need teeth at all, they just swallow them in whole.
Besides this - don't you think they are kind of cute? Okay at least when they don't lick you with their 60 centimetre spaghetti tongue.
They rather live in warm areas and are close relatives to the sloth. Well, at least they are not that slow at all.
Do you like these creatures or are they too weird for you?
I hope you liked this fact as much as I did!
