In the amidst following Facebook recent controversy "Cambridge Analytical Scandal". Mozilla firefox has developed a new extension called "Facebook Container" to give control over your online data collected by Facebook.

If you are not aware Facebook has been keeping tracks of all your online activities even when you are not logged into your browser. They know all your browsing activities that you browse on other tab or website and target you with related ads which keeps showing in your News Feed. All this is done in the background by Facebook.

Mozilla Firefox extension "Facebook Container" will isolate your Facebook Profile which means that it will make it harder for Facebook to keep track of your browsing activities that you browse on other tab or websites.

Using the extension is very simple just download and install the extension (Link below) into your Firefox browser. When it's installed the first thing the extension will do is automatically erase all your Facebook cookies and log you, making it a fresh start.

Now when you log in to your Facebook account whenever you click a link it will open in a new blue-coloured tab, this is the container tab which is going to stop Facebook from tracking your other browsing activities that you browse on other tabs or websites.

Please note there are several websites which have embedded the shared button to Facebook "Share | Like | Comment" so if you click to use any of these buttons it will not work. So you may find difficulty logging into other websites after the extension is installed.

You can download the Firefox extension "Facebook Container" from here .
