I used it for ten years...

Until censorship came along and now Facebook is manipulated from all angles. All started with changes in Terms Of Use and Privacy Policy sections.

From a standard point of view, I understand that some content (violent, adult, racist or antisocial) is not welcomed in a community, but banning a link, or a post, just because "They Want To..."?

This post is about YOU, not about me. Imagine a simple action that you take on Facebook (upload a video, an image, post a comment...) and get a message like: "This Content Violates The Community Standards" while you are aware that it's not true.

Getting Stalked

It's not a social media platform anymore, it's a spy tool. 

1. Police can go against you anytime (Facebook is legally a public place)
2. Your ex watches your profile every day (while at the same time, you do that too)
3. Your family stresses you with suggestions on how you can improve, based on the content that you post (no freedom)

Getting Manipulated (and not only by the government)

Feeling free that you can choose what ads to see? Think again. It's like TV. They create the problem and the solution without your consent.

1. They show you what they want you to see
2. Blocking the ads gets you "penalized" (using ads blockers it's not what they want)
3. They hire (pay) Internet trolls, to participate in political debates or to ruin your image if you are a successful person
4. They lure you in "glossy games and apps" just to get you addicted and then, they tell you that you chose by free will
5. They do all this for FREE, on your time

Getting Scammed

101 ripoff baby. And here is how:

1. They proudly use their ads system to promote your business (you pay for the service, but the one who pays more, gets promoted. Google uses this too)
2. They use Fake Likes to make you think someone really gives a damn about your post (they use "likes" as a token)
3. App developers are laughing at you while you make blind purchases in their games and apps
4. Your credit card makes you their slave every time (and they make sure that you are entertained)
5. You are doing things for FREE on Facebook (on your time) and you are unaware of that
