After the news this week of Cambridge Analytica’s unauthorized siphon of millions of Facebook users’ data for political targeting, Some interesting individuals think Facebook users themselves are also to blame for not being more outspoken about or questioning how their data might be used.
this reaction supports past comments by the social network’s chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, who had queried Facebook users for giving up their personal data.
Many Facebook users recently threatened to deactivate or delete their accounts to protest Facebook’s collection of their personal data.
The #deletefacebook campaign, on twitter has received support from a creator of WhatsApp, one of Facebook’s most popular services, who sold his company to the social media giant for $19 billion in 2014.
Elon Musk, the chief executive of SpaceX and Tesla, removed the Facebook pages of both companies on Friday.This adds to the long list of Facebook's problems as 
it has lost the trust of its users.
