How to Make Facebook Sales Effectively.

Selling on Facebook can be a minefield, but there are a couple of things you can do to improve your return of investment (ROI), I often hear that businesses and individuals have attempted to use Facebook Ads to promote their products and services, whether it is their own, or affiliated sales such as Amazon for example. And the results of their campaigns can range from zero to hero turn-over. Below is just a couple of tips to help you make a successful campaign (and hopefully profit) by selling on Facebook.

Use a Facebook Page as a Base of Operation.

Rather than promote products directly via timelines, consider setting up a page to sell your services or products. The immediate benefits of this are; Anyone who likes your ad, you can then ask them to like your page (if they already haven't done so.) This then locks in potential customers for future use. An example of this is a page I have called 'I Want One of Those' https://www.facebook.com/IwantoneofthoseUK/ Currently I have 234 people liking this page, which essentially one I use to promote Amazon products (and other things.) I have in the past, run small paid promotions on here, and now with the number of fans I receive around 15 organic (free) clicks per day through to products posted there. Whereas if I had just advertised products directly, I would not have that fan base.

Make sure you get your demographics right, when promoting a product or service, make sure to set the age range, the gender, the interests of the people you are targeting and an absolute must is to check it regularly and make adjustments to get the best value for your ad spend.
