they are probably just eliminating any suitable competitors before they launch their own token of desperation, trying to catch up to a train that has long left the station.
God, when that company goes under I will open a bucket of popcorn. It's become so bad lately... FB is acting more and more like a state-sanctioned babysitter than a social media platform.

I really hope the intellectual property theft case against FB will pick up pace this year. FB has been a useful tool in the beginning but I just don't get why people still use it so much despite all its barriers, BS and ads clogging the feed.
They have crossed their high point, it's only going down now YAY
Barriers and excessive ads will be the death of Facebook. It about time FB goes through the same fate that MySpace experienced a couple of years back.

And as for Facebook: the cool thing is once it becomes obvious to the last one that that ship is about to sink we will already have built new tribes on here to support each other. Instead of all the (mindless) bickoring that goes on over there.
I actually have no idea why I didn't follow already, already saw that this tandem would work out fine.

That's true - people are slowly but surely moving on to other social media platforms, and it's only a matter of time before another social media giant comes along and replaces Facebook hahaha
