Facebook's new move: Yay or Nay?

in #facebook7 years ago

Facebook just announced a brilliant new move of uploading nudes though messenger.

This new system is currently being piloted in Austrailia with one of the country’s eSafety commissioner. This allows users to upload their nudes through Facebook messenger and creates a digital fingerprint, then attach it to file and prevent it being uploaded further maliciously.

But, because the system is being tested by the third party and not Facebook, people still are unsettled about uploading their personal photos.

However, the question is, does it really solve the problem of trust-breaking here. What if the person you are sharing your picture with, take a screenshot of your picture and then upload it somewhere else. Can we stop that?

People, its all up to you. Do you really trust someone enough to share your intimate pictures?

Don’t blindly follow what the web giants say, just apply your logic.
