Facebook's Timing Is Anything but Coincidental
Remember how independent media used to have huge reach on Facebook and was able to share truth and make actual change? Think #NoWarWithSyria 2013..
It is curious timing then that the social media giant has ramped up its efforts to crush independent voices at the same moment the military is taking over the U.S. government, anti-Russian propaganda is spinning out of control, the U.S. is on the verge of world war in a handful of arenas, our local police forces are becoming more militarized by the minute.. while nearly everyone is distracted by gun control.
You're already here on Steemit, so you're ahead of the game. But, please, make a point to continue finding independent voices and connect with them immediately on a variety of platforms. Support them if you can. And tell your friends. All of your friends. All of the time.
Alternative voices are needed now more than ever. The U.S. is spinning out of control and if you're not on the right side of history for this one there may be no future.

That has been the big frustration with coming to Steemit, well any new platform. Going from having an audience to an empty theater, where we don't even know what section of the theater we should be directing our voices. Minnow is an apt word to describe that. lol. I would expand that to minnow out of water flopping around on the beach ;)
at least minnows are kind of cute so maybe we'll pick up some sympathy points along the way and a helping hand from someone who can't resist helping a tiny cute fish out of water. 😜
