just deleted facebook

if you have read anything from me, you might wonder, "what?? you have facebook?" yes i did acually. have not used it for many years, but facebook has been structurally important. i was keeping it mostly to prove i did actually exist in my teens. you need to be ahead of conspiracy theorists. i did not see a point anymore however. facebook is purging itself to the point where everyone will simply have deleted it. now they are just banning everyone. with all the hate they have gotten over the last years, they are dobbeling down hard on just banning everything they dont like.

since this last purge of conservative on facebook will lead to a mass deletion of facebook, i did not see a reason to keep mine anymore. would just show i was to weak to delete it in solidarity. since facebook is not just dying by irrelevance, but going out in a blaze of "glory" not deleting it is weakness. i didnt want to let facebook mater enough to bother deleting it. but this is clearly going to become a thing. when i realized, i just deleted it, kinda out of nowhere.

i know people have not started calling for deleting facebook yet, but they will after the dust has settled down on this round of bans. no point being behind. it feels kinda good. its technically a huge symbolic event, so if you are gonna do it, take a bit more time with it then i did. mark it in some way. im even out of weed so cant celebrate.
