Facebook Announces Ban on Crypto Related Ads..Intimidated by Steemit??

Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook have announced a ban on crypto related ads.
Time to speculate the cause..
Well for one, they definitely may be protecting themselves from future potential lawsuits if one were to claim that Facebook facilitated in the advertising of a scam ICO.
Or could they be worried about the crypto revolution..are they attempting to protect their market share from coins like Steemit?
Either way, stay patient, hold your coins, and buy the dips!
ICO thing that they are saying is just a Hoax, the real deal is Steemit is rising faster that facebook so they can't handle the pressure.
So Ill say to steemit, we have lit the fire now it rise.

The word is getting out with or without Mark Zuckerberg on board. It's a shame Facebook is using their power for the worser, Steemit to the moon!
Interesting position they're taking. I can see it being portrayed as protection of their users, which i suppose is a reasonable interpretation.
That all being said, Facebook i feel is under growing threat from the superior value proposition of crypto backed social media platforms a-la Steem.
They've been taking user content, monetizing it via advertising and pocketing the profits for years. Any attempt to convert to a Steem style monetization model will be met with skepticism by the public regarding 'why now?', and would also be a difficult sell to shareholders - as profits would be directed outwards to users rather than inwards and upwards to the company's bottom line.
Sure. Their first step was ignoring than bashing and finally they start banning. In my opinion they are working on their own crypto's but I just know about some rumors according this- nothing has been proven yet.
Shocking that Facebook hasn't adopted any type of blockchain technology their selves.
