Denmark appoints first ambassador in "Facebook"

In the first such step, Denmark named the first technology ambassador in history, representing the virtual republics represented by technology and social networking companies in Silicon Valley, California.

Danish media reported the appointment of Kasper Kling, former Danish ambassador to Indonesia, as a "technoplasm" in virtual republics.

"The growing influence of technology companies on human life has called on his country to appoint a full-time ambassador to communicate with them," Killing told the media.
