If I have a choice between steemit and facebook and they would provide the same possibilities, I would definitely choose steemit. The reason for it is that even if facebook suddenly would decide to reward its users, it still has stakeholders and shareholders that need to be paid. So a big part of the profits would not be available to the community. In addition to that, why choose a centralized organisation like facebook, when you can have a decentralized one like steemit...
