But without the government, who would provide (fill in the blank)... We hear this all the time and it is about time someone answered. Who will provide X service? Anyone BUT the government, please. If allowed, a free market will offer better service and lower prices. It's kind of like, who would otherwise build the roads? Like any halfway intelligent person could't pour concrete in a straight line... Thankfully this question has already been answered in The Privatization of Roads and Highways by Walter Block.

Although he may not be a good republican or democrat, it is refreshing to hear a politician use the word privatize. Advocating for privatization of any industry is best for the consumer. Hopefully the TSA will be next on the chopping block. We will see.
