Huge Novice League (lvl 1 cards only) $334! Tournament hosted by @goldmatters today on Steem Monsters!
There are a lot of nice SM tournaments to partake in this weekend.
But user @goldmatters gives an opportunity to almost everyone to win in a BIG tournament today.
He organised a $334 Novice League Tournament with no entry fee and 500 STEEM + $100 Mene Gift card in Price money!
So far 172 Steemians have signed up but I'm sure we can get this number up!
@goldmatters is hoping for at-least 250 participants and is willing to reward that too!
From his announcement post here:
In order to provide motivation to enter the tournament and to break the previous record of entries (220), I am going to give away 30 beta booster packs to random entrants if we get 200 players entered. 200 players is also the minimum for the tournament to run.
If we get 250 players entered, this booster pack giveaway will become a 50 beta booster pack giveaway.
In other words you have a chance of winning a pack just by entering. Wow!
Also, remember in a Novice League Tournament only lvl 1 cards can be used.
This means that you do need cards but they don't have to be lvl'd up at all to have chance of winning.

Hey, what a lovely initiative! I ahev only lvl 1 cards and when I try to fight in tournaments I barely get to 2nd or 3rd stage, just because I fight against lvl 4-5 cards. And yet sometimes I still win. :) I will definately take part in the tournament and voted for witness. Thank you for this! :)
