Small but mighty
Extreme Fishing Africa in association with Assassin, Lady Angler of the week is Tracey from South Africa!
At only 13 years of age she has caught bigger fish than most of us can only dream about.🏆
Brief fishing history:
My name is Tracey. I live on the KZN South coast. I have been fishing for a year and a half now. I come from a family of angler's making it like a family outing every time we go fishing. My dad got me into fishing and I also fish with my sister and grandfather as well as the rest of the family.
My favorite place in KZN to fish is Pennington.
We fish with a Couta copter Matrix drone and use traces from 'Trace Mate' and usually make a bait bomb made from sardine.
My most exciting catch was a massive Thorn tail that took me 2 hours to land.
I used a Penn Slammer reel an Assassin Edge 14.6 rod with 65lb braid.
My conservation message to other angler's are to please clean up any rubbish around you when you are fishing and most importantly to me is catch and release of fish. We need to preserve our ocean before it is too late.
Well done Tracey on your amazing achievements at such young age, you will go far 👌
