You've continued the story so smoothly and effortlessly, taking the original premise and expanding on it, and adding deliciously disturbing new elements, such as the servants' dread of being called in to assist the good doctor in his experiments; the extreme discrepancies between accounts of the deceased's personality; the daunting revelation that so far none of the subjects have remained animate past 24 hours; and the group's belated hesitation about the course of action they've taken. You've really ratcheted up the suspense here! I can't wait to see what happens next. And the character's voices, both inner and outer, ring so true. Von Glockenspiel is perfect. Thank you.

Very kind words! You have me a very rich start to the story! You have all the main characters already lined out, from the mad scientist, to the Scotland Yard inspectors to the lovesick pauper. And I liked how you listed the characters before the story, so I put it in mine as well, hope you don't mind me copying that! Can't wait to see what happens next, this was so much fun!

Thank you :) I'm continually amazed by the talent and dedication of Steemit writers, this is such a great community to be a part of. Of course I think it's awesome that you carried over the character list. It's not easy to pick up a storyline and carry it forward, and I think any tools that might assist in that endeavor should be included!
