Intro T&T - Toco
Toco is the most northeasterly village on the island of Trinidad. The point where the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Tobago lies only some 35 kilometers to the northeast which renders Toco the closest point in Trinidad to the sister island.
To get there we passed through azurite nature reserve , but unfortunately we didnt stop, but next time we will. We couldnt help but stop at marriane falls though, thats where the marriane river from marriane bay which we visited perviously, here it turns into a water fall.
whats an adventure without excitement along the way, but nothing to traumatic, and nothing unexpected for explorers traversing through these hills, but local law enforcement was on the scene
the most beautiful aspect of trinidad and tobago isnt the scenery or the food but i can assure you is its awesome people, full of energy and carefree, a place where the divisions created by politics, religion and economic status disappears when the vibrant spirit of the people collide. Nothing was going to stop us from getting to the beach and we got there, and it was awesome a sight as one could imagine
