San Bernardino Mountain Trips - Plunge Creek
We headed to the foot of the San Bernardino mountains in Highland California, to spend the day exploring Plunge creek. I hiked up into the canyon and made it all the way through to forest route 1N09, exploring that entire section. I found great views, nice waterfalls, swimming holes, lots of fish, and even a couple old mines! Plunge creek is an absolutely beautiful, yet rarely visited area of the San Bernardino mountains. It's obscure location, rugged terrain, and wild overgrowth, make it a tough trek. But that is also what makes it such an awesome canyon!

Amazing landscape,I love the clear pictures. Would like to take a walk in that rugged terrain. I bet the air up there is fresh and crisp :)
Beautiful landscape, wow
Great scenery, can you swim in the creek
Yes, there are a few swimming holes in this creek. One of them has some rocks to jump off and one of them has a little waterslide!
