I would say no. There was a spike in the price of Steem today due to a pump that Steem received when someone deposited hundreds of BTC's into it.
And if there has been an injection in Steemit, maybe a new confidence is being established? It is a good new!
I won't deny that's a possibility.
On the same token, I won't deny that it could be a simple transaction between bitcoin holders who know Steem has no transaction fees.
We will see in a few days if the trend keeps! Nevertheless, the experiment was a request that had been made for several months.
