Welcome to the second edition of the Expanse Newsletter for 2018. This  publication is a bi-monthly newsletter issued on the 1st and 15th of  each month to share happenings within our community. Keep in mind that  breaking news can come at any time, but the Expanse Newsletter is a  great overview of progress, news, and our current focus.

DROPD INITIAL COIN OFFERING ON TOKENLAB

As we  previewed in the last newsletter, our first Initial Coin Offering (ICO)  is about to launch on the Tokenlab™ platform and the Expanse.Tech  blockchain. The Dropd (DPD) countdown site is up. You can view it at https://dropd.tokenlab.io.

With  its antiquated business model and closed system, the music industry is  poised for a blockchain disruption. Enter Dropd, where artists will be  able to create, promote, distribute and monetize their music without the  need for an agent or a record label. Version 2.0  will drop new artists LIVE on the air and allow users to re-drop songs  to their followers both inside and outside of the application. EXP.LIFE LOGO REVEAL

EXP.Life, long a dream of Expanse  Co-founder Christopher Franko, is about to become a reality.  Spearheaded by Omar Alvarez, the project is well underway. One of the  first steps was to bring the initiative to life through a brand that  reflects the innovation and aspirations behind the concept. The logo is  revealed above. It is not just a logo, but a design that is a reflection  of the ideals it is created to represent. 

Here are its origins:In  Maori art, the koru represents peace, personal growth and positive  change. Inspired by the shape of an unfolding fern frond, its circular  design tells the story of new beginnings and renewal. The varying shades  of the color purple, with its mystic qualities, communicates a sense of  calm and spiritual balance.Koru is the Maori word for  loop. As if in perpetual motion, the design’s inner coil symbolizes the  start of a new life while the outer coil implies continuous and infinite  rejuvenation.This is EXP.Life, where even the end is just the beginning.

Many of you have noticed that there is a temporary landing page on www.expanse.tech,  our company website. That is because, with feedback and suggestions  from many in our community, a new site is in development. See the sneak  peek of our landing page in the graphic above. 

We call it Expanse.Tech™  2.0.Among the many rich and innovative features are the ability  to view content according to the user profile (miner vs. developer,  etc.), curated news content, a knowledge base, and real-time exchange  and Discord chat viewing.We could not be more excited about bringing this new site to our community.
