Magpie's Valley Run
I just finished a 6.741km run that lasted about 0hh:39mm:13ss !
Late afternoon run in total darkness, of course. up the road into the Magpie's valley and back.
The tempo was steady, the macadam road was wet and partially soft, the visibility was excellent - with a strong headlamp.
The feeling was great.
This was probably my longest run in the last ten days ...

No, it was a there and back run. You can't see it from the map since the finish icon is overlapped with the start icon.
The valley, the flat part of it, is around 2.5 kilometers long. Nice macadam forest road which can be run even without the headlamp - with a bit of feeling :)
When you run in the dark, your other senses become more sensitive. It's a great feeling of being open to your surroundings.
The day has only 23 hours and not 24, do you know why? Because one hour is booked always for running.
