Shoulder Mobility - Reach Up, then back.
This is another shoulder mobility exercise for increasing range of motion.
Don't push into pain, feel slowly and gently before extending the stretch.
I use this stretch between sets and after training sessions.
I learned this one from the guys at GMB (Gold Medal Bodies) I signed up for their full lifetime membership with access to all their guided training routines. That will keep me progressing for years, so long as I warm up and cool down sensibly to avoid injuries.
This stretching is focused through the upper pectoral, (chest) muscles as well as the front deltoids, (shoulders).
Start with a very wide grip on the pole or broom stick, paddle or whatever you have. To increase difficulty and range of motion, gradually practice moving your hands closer together and repeat the motion.
Another great stretch for those of us spending a lot of time on screens and keyboards.
Take care
