Bitcoin.org again excluded Coinbase and BitPay from the list of trusted sites

in #excluded6 years ago (edited)

The popular information resource Bitcoin.org excluded the leading American crypto-currency company Coinbase, the processing of BitPay and the purse provider Blockchain.info from the trusted resources section. This step is already actively discussed at Reddit .

In the discussion on this issue immediately entered well-known opponents - Bitmain CEO Cihan Wu and co-founder bitcoin.org Cobra.

Cobra replied when asked for involvement to the recent censorship action:

"Why we should promote these companies for free, they are evil. Do you advertise Blockstream on the Bitmain website? This is not censorship, but freedom - to decide which resource to promote and which is not. No one should force us to include in the listing resources that attack bitcoin , "retorted Cobra when Wu asked if he was responsible for this" act of censorship ".

Previously, these same resources were included in the "black list" of Bitcoin.org because of the support of the failed hardfoot SegWit2x.
