RE: Exchange Transfer Report: 7/23/2017 to 7/29/2017
I went back and read the first report today. Learnt that it takes quite a bit of effort, using Piston tool (don't know anything about that but am going to read up) to pull this analysis together. Great effort.
After reading your last report, I had been able to derive a conclusion that taking SBD out vs buying and putting SBD in on Steemit affected the overall Steem price if these operations are skewed in one direction or the other. Reading your first article in this series gave a better understanding of this.
I also read a few of the older reports randomly to try and see if I could derive a correlation between Steem price and the data of withdrawals. Have not been able to do any comprehensive analysis yet but hope to do it sometime this week. Was horrified to see that Steem price was down to 0.08 sometimes and we (newcomers) whine now if it goes to 1.2.
Thanks for these informative blogs. Wish you a great day.
I was buying Steem above $1 a year ago (even above $3) and watched it go to $4. Then I watched it crash all the way down to $0.10. For months, posts around here didn't make much at all.
Yeah, the new members do seem to complain a bit too much from the perspective of us "old-timers" but that's to be expected. :)
