SBD is supposed to be a pegged asset to the US dollar, so it's not supposed to change. If it goes below $1 in purchasing power, you can convert it in your wallet to $1 of STEEM. That creates upward pressure to keep it close to $1. If it goes above $1, well that's just kind of silly and there aren't really any adjustments to be made other than witnesses manipulating the piece feed of STEEM to compensate (which I'm currently not a fan of).
