Excel Tricks. Locking in Cell References

Locking in cell references in Excel allows you copy formulas but keep certain cells locked. It allows you build dynamic formulas.

A locked in cell is known as an absolute cell reference.

If the cell is not locked in it is known as a relative cell reference.

Every Excel user should know how to do this
