The Excavator - A Poem

T H E E X C A V A T O R !

It turns the dirt and move the land

fill up a valley or empty it for sand

the excavator is a machine made for a man

many who have an excavator is named Sam

They have been used in constructing a dam

They always come back after a black swan

The Excavator he is no traitor

He level the ground for your skyscraper

If you have the money put in an elevator

Elvis is dead, an Excavator was used to dig his grave

Halloween is around the corner - be brave :)

    Will join at Steemspeak another time. Wanted to work on a text about: "Olle sad på en knold og sang." It has been in my head for a while. It could be a song made in different styles too. (Original poem by Jeppe Aakjær, 1899)
