Long weekends - Rizal's Day Philippines
Today,while everyone is working in an office and doing their normal routine,Laguna Philippines is enjoying the 3 days long weekends since this day is a regular non-workinng holiday in the whole province of Laguna. We are celebrating the birth of our National hero who happens to be native of Calamba Laguna
Dr. José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonzo Realonda Is the real name of Dr.Jose Rizal. He is the National hero of the Philippines. He is famous during Spanish regimen in bringing the change. He fought the spaniards by writing some books stating the wrongdoings of the priest which enlightened some Filipinos during that time.
He was born on June 19, 1861 in Calamba Laguna.
