Other events

These are events that are organized by third party affiliates. We can sponsor them and in return we get to be mentioned or our logo is placed somewhere. Some may let us have few minutes on stage to present Steemit. 

But is it worth it? How many companies are doing the same thing? Are we getting the results? (more sign-ups and possible investors).

Halfhearted

I think the reason for promoting something more than getting the word out is TRUST. If we will do promotions halfheartedly then the result is just that halfhearted. Also If we promote like everyone else, we will be competing on the red ocean of advertising or shouting in a noisy world of ads. 

Steemit Events

I proposed this project as part of my 4-phase strategy on promoting Steemit in my city.
Here is the rough idea:

1. Pay the artist with SBD. Simple right? 
2. Upvote the artists by Steemit Pampanga.
3. Business sponsors will upvote or donate SBD.

The flexibility of our own events will allow multiple showcasing of different talents on the platform. 

Benefits

• There's so many benefits and it varies on every event. ex. Steemit Showcase Musicians benefits those who are musicians in our platform. 
• It will create the sense of exclusivity of our platform, obviously if they want to be part of the event they have to sign-up to our platform.
• News loves to cover unique events which in turn will create trust on the everyday viewers.
• Businesses might take advantage of our events by seeing how many people comes to every event then probably will invest on the platform.

In the end we win, more investor and more users plus trusted public promotion.
