PARLEY OF THE MOORISH INVASION. Gathering of the Christian and Moor troops, medieval tournament and representation of the Parley and the Moorish Invasion of the Town.

BATTLE AND CHRISTIAN EMBASSY
The Ambassador and the King of the Christian will urge the Moors troops to leave the Castle, but
the Moors will not accept, so the war will be declared with the ALARDO (boasting with pop guns), that will take place in the surrounding
streets and that will finish with the RECONQUEST of the Castle by the Christian troops.

SATURDAY 30th of SEPTEMBER

SPECTACULAR PARADE OF MOORS AND CHRISTIAN (ENTRADA) around
the main streets of our town. Itinerary: Tomás Ortuño, Venus, Ruzafa, Martínez Alejos, Gambo, to finish at the Castle.
Formation: Standard Bearer of the AMYC,
Moor troops: Nazaríes, Tuaregs, Musulmanes Tagarinos with the Moor King.
Christian troops:
Cavallers de la Baronía and Cruzados with the Christian King.

SUNDAY 1st of OCTOBER

12:00 at the Castle (Gambo Street)

THE PEACE PARLEY, between the Prince of Kairuán and the Governor of the Castle so, once it is finished, the Tunisian Prince and its troops will leave.

GREAT OFFERING OF FLOWERS to Saint James. Formation: Identical to
that of the “ENTRADA”, closing the parade the Standard Bearer of the
A.M.Y.C., the Christian King, the Moor King and Local Authorities. Itinerary:
From the Castle, Gambo, Martínez Alejos, Paseo de la Carretera, Santa Faz to finish at the Church.

13:00 SOLEMN MASS

at the Church of Saint James and Saint Anne, with the participation of the A.C.R. La Barqueta from Benidorm

19:00 starting at Tomás Ortuño Street (Ondulada Street)

FLOAT PARADE (RETRETA FESTERA) The different Troops will exchange
the traditional throwing of sweets, serpentines and gifts. Itinerary:
Tomás Ortuño, Venus, Ruzafa, Martínez Alejos, Gambo, to finish at the Castle.

Concierto de Música Festera a cargo de la S.M.L'Illa de Benidorm. Exaltación de Cargos: por parte de Autoridades y Entidades locales. Pregón de fiestas a cargo de Dº Juan Antonio González Magraña, párroco de la Iglesia San Jaime y Santa Ana de Benidorm. Entrega de las llaves de la Villa de Benidorm al Rey Cristiano 2017 por parte del Sr. Alcalde D. Antonio Pérez Pérez.

JUEVES 28 de SEPTIEMBRE

A las 22:00 horas en Playa de Levante (zona Calle Valencia)

PARLAMENTO DE LA INVASIÓN MORA. Concentración de las Tropas Cristianas en su campamento de la playa, al que llegan las Huestes Moras después de desembarcar. Ambos bandos parlamentan entre ofrendas y juegos medievales. Al no llegar a un acuerdo amistoso el acto finaliza con la Invasión Mora de la Villa
de Benidorm.

VIERNES 29 de SEPTIEMBRE

A las 10:30 horas en Paseo Colón

DIANA: Formación: Estandarte de la Asociación. Bando Cristiano: Cavallers de la Baronía, Cruzados, Rey Cristiano y Dama. Bando Moro: Nazaríes, Tuareg, Musulmanes Tagarinos, Rey Moro y Favorita. Itinerario: Paseo Colon, Paseo de la Carretera, Martínez Alejos y Gambo hasta el Castillo.

A las 19:30 horas en el Castillo (Calle Gambo)

ESTAFETA Y EMBAJADA CRISTIANA, el Embajador Cristiano, acompañado del Rey Cristiano, incitará a las Huestes Moras a abandonar el Castillo. Ante la negativa de estos se producirá la declaración de guerra, iniciándose el ALARDO que finaliza con la RECONQUISTA de la fortaleza de Benidorm por las Tropas Cristianas.

SÁBADO 30 de SEPTIEMBRE

A las 10:30 horas en Plaza Neptuno

GRAN ENTRADA MORA Y CRISTIANA: Espectacular desfile de las Huestes Moras y Tropas Cristianas por las principales calles de nuestra villa. Formación: Estandarte de la Asociacion. Bando Moro: Nazaríes, Tuareg, Musulmanes Tagarinos, Rey Moro y Favorita. Bando Cristiano: Cavallers de la Baronía, Cruzados, Rey Cristiano
y Dama. Itinerario: Tomas Ortuño, Venus, Ruzafa, Martínez Alejos y Gambo hasta el Castillo.

DOMINGO 1 de OCTUBRE

A las 12:00 horas en el Castillo (Calle Gambo)

PARLAMENTO DE PAZ (1990. Pere Mª Orts i Bosch). El Alcaide del Castillo (Cristiano) y el Príncipe de Kairuán (Moro) parlamentan sobre la legítima propiedad del Castillo de Benidorm, tras el cual queda demostrado que es una Fortaleza Cristiana y las Huestes Moras se retirarán pacíficamente.

Al finalizar el Parlamento (12:30 horas):

GRAN OFRENDA DE FLORES en Honor a nuestro patrón San Jaime Apóstol que culmina con una SOLEMNE MISA MAYOR cantada por la A.C.R. La Barqueta, en la Iglesia de San Jaime y Santa Ana (13:00 horas). Formación: Estandarte de la Asociación. Bando Moro: Nazaríes, Tuareg, Musulmanes Tagarinos. Bando Cristiano:
Cavallers de la Baronía, Cruzados. Cerrando la comitiva Rey Moro y Favorita, Rey Cristiano y Dama, Autoridades y Entidades locales. Itinerario: Desde el Castillo, Gambo, Martínez Alejos, Paseo de la Carretera, Santa Faz hasta la Iglesia.

A las 19:00 horas en Tomas Ortuño (esquina con Ondulada)

RETRETA: Desfile festero de carrozas con tradicional lanzamiento de confetis, serpentinas y demás elementos festivos. Itinerario: Tomas Ortuño, Venus, Ruzafa, Martínez Alejos y Gambo hasta el Castillo.
