“I’m not talking about who you think you are, but who you truly are.”

I found this quote in a book named Eve written by Paul Young. It wasn't a book I fell in love with, but it was still a book that contained a few quotes and lessons that is useful to bring along in life.

And so is the quote of the day. It is something that God is saying to all of us.

“I’m not talking about who you think you are, but who you truly are.”

When God looks at us, he doesn't care about how much money you have in the bank, how much Steem is in your Steem wallet, or whether you live in a shelter, in a house, or in a castle. He doesn't care if your clothes have been bought at Zara, or if you found them on the street. He doesn't look at those things. He is looking at you. He is looking to your heart. He is looking at who you truly are.

He knows your personality and he knows your inner being. When he speaks to you, he knows you better than anyone else. It is so easy to doubt the wisdom of God and believe that he will give bad piece of advice. But, he sees us from above, he has the right perspective, and he knows us better than we know ourselves.

Try to walk your own path (that you believe will make you happy), and I can guarantee you that it will not give you ultimate satisfaction.

Find the path that God has prepared, and you will find satisfaction!
