Very cool sir. Have been on the fence about picking up a Rings since it's sorta a defacto youtube patch module ... but every time I hear it I just want one horribly badly. Guess it's all about how you use it! Loved the patch.
Thanks! You definitly should pick one up if you are into the sound. I got my second one. The sound palette is quite large if you use external signals instead of the internal noise to trigger the resonator.
I have not heard rings triggered by an external source ever. Do you have (or know where) any video demos of this exist? Much intrigued.
The patch in the video is an example. I'm feeding noise from the telharmonik into Rings. You can get very nice variations by filtering noise sources before sending them to the input of Rings. You might know "R Beny" on youtube? He is getting wonderful lush sounds out of it doing the same.
sweet baby jesus, look at this cablesalad
Great ambient sound, I usually go only for 432Hz tuned music but this is very good.
Thanks nutela. I try hard to get some musical results out of the modular.
Lol, right, it's a toy for sound which sometimes happen to be musical right? But I love the freshness of pure analog sound making, it stands on its own really. No need for x layers of sfx.
Nice ! !
