Hi @Coinsandchains. :)
Yes, Lithuania and Poland are neighbors. Hundreds of years ago it was in alliance with Poland. It was something like one country called Republic of Both Nations, or Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
Nowadays Lithuania is considered to be a part of Eastern Europe. However, it is not 100% truth. Actually it in the exact geographical center. The center of Lithuania and the center of Europe almost match.

Awesome info. I knew it was somewhere close, I have a friend who is Polish, and lived in Lithuania for a bit or at least had spent a good bit of time there, just from our conversations.

I don't know why I was saying western European, which would be GB, Spain etc. I was thinking western Russian block, which is probably an outdated term. Again thanks for the info.

Cool. :) I can see you are from USA. It's nice that you live so far away, but you know Lithuania. I think it's funny when our close neighbors do not know it. :D Like Germans or Polish (we had hundreds of years of history with those countries in one way or another). :DDD

By the way, a few Lithuanians used to play in NBA. I Don't know if you like basketball or not. :D Right now Jonas Valančiūnas is playing for Toronto Raptors.

Also, there was Arvydas Sabonis. He used to play many years ago. He played until his 41 birthday :) In NBA he was a member of Portland Trail Blazers. :)))
