VOCATIONAL CLASS SESSION: MAKE OVER TRAINING
"At the end of the #2017/2018 academic session, we designed a summer coaching for interested parents and students to at least keep them busy during the long vacation period. The session had been a busy one with so much activity ranging from end of session party for all stale students plus prize given to outstanding students in both academics and attitude."

The most gigantic project we embarked upon was the #Valedictory service for the outgoing #SS3 students and their juniors in the junior school, the #JSS3 students who had completed the Basic 9 programme by writing the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE). However, we decided to organize a fun-time coaching for this year. Usually the lesson only involves academics and a little of professional touch in career choice and counseling, which had paid off in the recent past. But for this year, we opted for vocational training which will include the following:

Make over & Gele(head gear) tying
Computer appreciation
Confectioneries
Home use products
For today, I will like to concentrate only on the make over training of the summer coaching.
The resource person started the class by introducing herself to the learners, and funny enough she was an ex-student of the school, in person of MISS SODIQ MONSURAT.
She was the Games Prefect of the school during her period in the school. She started the class session by listing materials that will be needed for the course. The materials are listed below.
Powder, wiper, concealer, eye shadow base, eye shadow, naked (set of brush), lipstick, mascara, pro-concealer, setting powder, foundation, eye lashes, eye pencil, eye liner, edge control, lashes glue, blush, contour kit, blade.
PROCEDURES
Step 1: use wiper to clean the face of the client.
Step 2: use razor blade to carve the brow to the proposed shape
Step 3: draw the brow with the #David’s pencil, then highlight using concealer and angle brush. With this, we are done with the brow.
Step4: apply your shadow base, then shadow as the shadow base is to hold the shadow. After, apply contour, using your #contour kits.
Step 5: use eye liner, that’s to make the eyes more pronounced.
Step 6: apply your primer (MOM, ponds etc)
Step7: apply foundation (mac, milani, classy)
Step 8: apply setting powder on your cheekbone, forehead, jaw; then blend excess of the setting powder out with setting powder brush.
Step 9: application of blush on the cheekbone, then your contour kits will come under the blush.
Step 10: apply lip base thereafter apply lipstick (classy, milani, glams)
Step 11: highlight the lips with angle brush and #concealer.
Step 12: apply powder in a circular motion.
Step 13: apply glow kits using firm brush on the #cheekbone, nose, & forehead.
GELE TYING

To make your make-up unique, there is need for a professional touch on your gele head gear.
Some of the materials needed for tying a perfect head gear may include: edge control, which is to be applied to the frontal page of your head.
Its a lucrative vocation if one becomes an expert in it.
