Startrek directive is a very nice thought experiment, I think. Ingenious by the scriptwriters to invent it and thus throw the viewer into emotional dilemmas.

We don't have a warp drive, but the one we have is enough to penetrate the furthest corners of the earth and walk around with our cameras and microphones.

The reality in which we live is full of monitors. We will have to learn how to use them wisely and also how to carefully produce sounds from the microphones in front of our mouths. Already we can see how our own cacophony blows our ears and eyes. It's soothing to look for different sources which can guide and give refuge.

I really like the directive in Startrek. :D
