Reddit is very simple! Just make an account and subscribe to various subreddit of the topics you enjoy reading about. You can view a single subreddit, or groups of them called multireddits, or simply everything uploaded to the site at /r/all. Upvote submissions you like and down vote things you don't like.
It's similar to steemit! It's a collection of links or text posts that are categorized into different subreddits or tags. The main page is like the trending page of the most popular posts.
