I used to eagerly watch Roger's talks and interviews... but his antipathy towards the approach that Core is developing really bothers me. And don't forget, he vouched for Mt. Gox before its epic crash & burn. I remember listening to a podcast of that. It's obvious the guy isn't a tech geek, so why trust his opinion on scaling and other technical matters? I think he could be doing significant harm to Bitcoin.
