Is There Enough Room on Ethereum Network for 2 Clogs - Cryptokitties vs. Fomo3D [cryptocurrency][ethereum]

A few months ago we saw the arrival of Cryptokitties to the Ethereum platform. This was a first of its kinda smart contract that could be both game and business venture. The idea was that you purchased a tokenized digital version of a cat, which could then be sold or even used to breed with other cryptokitties.
This was of course revolutionary in the Crypto-Universe and of course went viral. If I remember correctly it began to seriously congest the Ethereum Network, cause network fee prices to go up quite high compared to the norm. Transactions would take a long time to process and verify on the Ethereum network, causing some to even think that Ethereum might crash and fail.
No such thing happened of course and Ethereum has just kept chugging along. Although prices for all cryptocurrencies has since dropped, and the cryptokitties hype that saw some of them selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars has subsided, now comes along another revolutionary experiment to be tried and tested on the Ethereum Network.
Again, some are calling for the death of the Ethereum platform while there are others that believe that this new smart contract experiment could send Ethereum prices to the moon. Since the launch of this smart contract, the Ethereum network's throughput has been tested again. Fomo3D is a revolutionary hybrid that is part social experiment, gamble, scam, investment, and lottery ticket all wrapped into one Ethereum based smart contract.
How long this ingenious experiment will play out is anyone's guess. As stated earlier, some believe that this new "game" could potentially slow the Ethereum Network to a crawl, raise transaction fees and possibly cause many to flee to other platforms. Others have stated that this hybrid lottery game/ gamble is more likely to cause an extreme amount of Ethereum to get locked up in this new smart contract, possibly causing a shortage of Ethereum and thus driving prices to the Moon. Yet there are others that think this is a straight out EXIT SCAM, and that there will be No Winner and Only Losers.
As far as I know, that last statements already stands proven partially incorrect due to the fact that there are many who have already profited from being early players/members of this scam-game. So although they might not be as happy as if they would have won the FOMO3D active pot of some $10 Million Dollars worth of Ethereum, I am sure they are happy that they profited from being early players/investors/losers. The part of no winner is yet to be determined since the game/ponzi scheme still continues. The ones stating that there will be no winner believe that the anonymous team that created this smart contract called Fomo3D have a back door entrance to this smart contract that will allow them to drain the funds from this smart contract. If this is so, then it will have lived up to its website URL name of ExitScam.Me.
Another interesting point that some have made in regards to FOMO3d is that this game, should the contract not be hacked or scammed, could potentially go on for years. Others have stated that someone with big money could come buy up a bunch of keys to speed up the process of driving up key prices, but that seems unlikely. Then again, so did a $180,000 Cryptokitty until it sold for that.
Another argument as to the possible Ethereum Network havoc created by this new anomaly called Fomo3D is that should the Ethereum in the Active Pot that everyone playing is trying to win get large enough and tempting enough for some large Ethereum miner to go rogue in an attempt to cash out the Fomo3D contract themselves. This would consist of a 51% network attack for 24 hours where nothing processes except for the one transaction that gives them the key to the super wealthy smart contract, the timer goes to zero and they keep all the Ethereum.
What the outcome to this will be, no one really knows. The question on my mind for now is can the Ethereum network sustain and support two smart contract, Cryptokitties and now Fomo3D, that are both going viral at the same time causing Network congestion on Ethereum?

I think the ethereum network can support this kind of dapps but they need to upgrade their structure first and we know that vitalik can do it very well but for sure that guy need time to do it. Saludos

I personally am so intrigued by it I just hate that it will take forever to see someone win, unless of course they truly do an Exit Scam and there is no winner.

I kind of think Eth deserves another network-clogging monstrosity... and instead of waiting around for the devs to get their **** together, I hope more devs look to stronger blockchains for building projects on... They won't have to look far! :D
Yeah, the competition is most definitely on. EOS is coming up and Steem already has a great working blockchain, plus all the other off chain type projects everyone is working on..... I am hodling for 2.5 more years while trying to accumulate the ones I think will launch!!
Good morning @streetstyle regarding your question, I do not think this network can support this, I invested in Cryptokitties, that sadly I lost my Ethereums, very cute cats but it did not help, so I no longer trust these projects, the truth is that I like the Ethereum, I have it in my Exodus wallet and I am going to keep them to see what happens.

Yes @lennstar in a traditional style ponzi scheme, scam, it is the early ones that win... but this is not a traditional style ponzi because it has aspects of a lottery as well.
If anything, I think the coders of this contract left a backdoor open for themselves, and they will do an EXIT with all the Eth, thus the name exitscam.me
Who knows, time will tell, but if you consider the DigiDao, a similar smart contract, like FOMO3D, this could mean FOMO3d has a lot of room to grow.
