3 features are expected when Blockchain Ethereum upgrades Metropolis
Many people are expecting HardFork Metropolis for the Blockchain Ethereum ecosystem. Just like the development updates, Metropolis introduces many new changes and features. Looking at the response of the community, there are some new features that are more "interesting" than others. Here are three features that many people are looking forward to when Metropolis launches.
3. RETURNDATA * AND REVERT
From a developer's perspective, Metropolis will bring some interesting changes to the table. Two of the opcodes developers might want to pay attention to the REVERT and the new RETURNDATA * options. More specically, when using the new RETURNDATA * opcodes, developers can make smart contracts return variable values. This can happen over a period of time by using a temporary solution, however this is not convenient.
In addition, smartcontract will greatly benet from REVERT opcode. This feature effectively enables smartcontract to be restored and failed, but does not use all the gas. When combined with the RETURNDATA * option, developers can nally work properly with exception handling. In addition, the smartcontract will "explain" why they failed. Code "out of gas" is not the correct information, and will have more detailed feedback.
2. ACCOUNT ABSTRACTION (abstract account)
Account abstraction is quite dicult to account for account abstraction without returning to technical terms. The account abstraction allows the user to "dene" the wallet address - in which they own key private - in the form of smartcontract. This may sound too interesting for many non-developers, but there are some benets to using this new feature. Especially serious users considering account security want to see this change.
More specically, this change means that private keys used to control an external account are less likely to be affected by attacks made by quantum computers against script programs. Sign is used. Users can benet from other security programs, such as hash ladders. Unlike security changes, the account abstraction also allows contractors to pay for gas.
1. ZK-SNARKS
ZK-SNARKS has existed for quite some time, but when Blockchain Ethereum enters Metropolis, it will be supported by more security features in the transaction. In the rst phase, HardFork Metropolis will introduce the building blocks for ZK-SNARKS, which is an important step. More specically, when HardFork will provide the original cryptography for this technology, transactional information will be more private.
Introducing the Block for ZK-SNARKS (Zero-knowledge SNARKS) is a big step for Blockchain Ethereum . Help Ethereum better security and even anonymity whenever needed. It is likely that Ethereum will soon feature the ZCash-esque migration feature though it takes a long time to upgrade.

Great post with great info on eth. I will be watching very closely as this comes to fruition. I think that this will have quite a huge affect on the price and should create some crazy oppurtunities for traders once again.
