The two big stories this wednesday are Ethereum being awesome and hitting a nice peak today.
Nintendo files for Patent and Ubisoft exec comments on the new system. I've filed through the patents, and what I believe will be the new system codenamed NX:

*The NX is a handheld running android. They will run on cartridges and run Higher end games like the Wii U. This device will stream to the tv wirelessly. This will include Xbox and Playstation and will have a streaming service with the entire Nintendo library universe in a handheld. This is the reason the head of UBISOFT has said its will bring a lot of casual gamers back......simply bc its in a small form factor and can also go Big on the external monitor.
