Is there anything as good as SteemMonsters? I don't want to try all these out and then, they end up being clunky.
A lot of them have primitive graphics, but that's not always an issue.
Player base is always the big issue... something that we really forget about on STEEM! Some dApps are lucky to have 2 people on at any one time...
Anyway, mechanics-wise... most of the dApps that are gaming related are going with collectibles or casual gaming... both of which are multi player gaming experiences... which are just going to have to be simple and lacking in narrative and gameplay depth. I think this area of things is going to be going down the route of terrible mobile free-to-play game clones.
I hope not... I think it will change eventually. Hopefully, sooner than later.
