Major online retailer Overstock.com opens its doors to Ether payments among other cryptocurrencies.

This is huge. While having the fortune 100 companies jumping into the EEA shows clear support for the Ethereum platform, having a mainstream merchant accept cryptocurrency is historic. Soon people will realize they can own credit cards that allow them to spend crypto instead of fiat....
