For the power supply I bought a 1200 w corsair professional platinum - it's energy efficient and enough to supply the 6 GPUs.

The 6 GPUs are connected to the mother board with PCI-E riser cables which I bought on ebay (http://www.ebay.fr/itm/USB-3-0-PCI-E-Express-1x-To-16x-Graphics-Extender-Riser-Card-Adapter-Power-Cable/222477460745).

The GPUs are also connected to the power supply with connector power cables provided in the power supply packaging.

See the three yellow cables belonging to three PCI-E adapters are connected with one power connector to the power supply

And then up to two GPUs are directly connected to the power supply with one power cable.
