...one speaker at Consensus who may have an immediate effect. That would be ShapeShift as they premier their new platform PRISM. ShapeShift is a cryptocurrency exchange. It supports dozens of blockchain tokens, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dash, and Monero. PRISM is a new system built entirely on smart contracts. ShapeShift has been fairly secretive about PRISM's exact function, promising to elaborate in their conference spot. But we know that a system built on smart contracts is far more secure. If ShapeShift implements PRISM in its exchange, it will be taking the first step toward a more secure cryptocurrency world. Though ShapeShift hasn't confirmed it yet, it is likely PRISM will operate on the Ethereum Blockchain. There isn't another network with the same ability to execute smart contracts. When ShapeShift adopts, other major digital currency exchanges are likely to follow suit."
