#2018 Will Be #Ethereum 's Year!
Happy new year in advance!
This year has been super eventful and I believe this was the first year when the idea of a dollar and a dream really became feasible for the common man in the first world. There are so many ways to self-educate and startup and self-finance and group finance any and everything in the world one might want to achieve that all the worlds idols have begun to look way more human.
For me, this was the year I really went all in on the blockchain. Heck that's how I got to be blogging on here now. #steemit for the win! :D
This year in cryptocurrency really took off in honest when BTC surged above $5000. Seems like so long ago.
The sort of dark horse of crypto this year was the brainchild of a russian by the name of Vitalik Buterin.
If Bitcoin is the MS-DOS of crypto currency, Ethereum is the MacOS. No one has also been able to prove that they can come up with a better solution for smart contracts than the innovative team at ETH, so expect the price of ETH to head way up past $1000 USD in the coming year.
Privacy, security and scaling are the challenges of all cryptos- and ETH has everyone beat by a country mile for now.
Thank you for the reminder, @meansunlare! :) I've always preached that Ethereum is like the Google Play store of the Blockchain platform - allowing various developments of dapplications that WILL shatter any markets they touch. Even now as you and I communicate through this platform, Ethereum developers all over the world are creating programs that will redefine what we once perceived as efficiency. It is truly the greatest time to be alive and obsessed with the cryptoverse!
